This song came to life when I was battling a really dark season in my life. I had nowhere to go and no one to lean on so I went through each and every emotion just to find myself some answers. This chaos made me lose sight of what was in front of me and I felt as if I was stuck all alone in such a cold and heartless world. However, God spoke to me and just reminded me that amidst all of my struggles, he remained in control and that all I had to do was "be still, and know that he is good." I learned that no amount of struggle amounted to the love and mercies of God so I conveyed that in this song.
